Access to Services

Bus StopTo increase access to services and improve government responsiveness the CN DAB aims to:

Priority 1 - Respond to the needs and priorities of Corio Norlane through place based approaches
Priority 2 - Strengthen the capacity of the community to manage and sustain themselves
Priority 3 - Improve services and advocate for the redistribution of resources to areas of high need
Priority 4 - Improve Access to Public and Active Transport

  • Four Neighbourhood Reference Committees (NRC) and five issue specific Sub Committees
  • Corio Norlane Neighbourhood Renewal Mainstreaming Plan embedding the voices of Corio and Norlane residents into the long-term plans of Federal, State and local governments as well as other agencies and organisations
  • Local residents and key people from local organisations and services meet regularly as part of the Corio Norlane Development Advisory Board (CN DAB)

Through the many vital partnerships and collaboration between residents, the three tiers of government, community agencies and groups, the CNDAB is and has been proud to be part of the above programs, projects and initiatives that are or have been available in Corio and Norlane.
